Welcome to the official website of Britannia coin! Created in 2022 during the platinum jubilee festivities of her majesty the late Queen Elizabeth II, Britannia coin seeks to be the premier example of a Brit-coin or British made cryptocurrency.

Britannia coin has its own unique identity, deeply rooted in real world applications and respected international acclaim. We are a dynamic, optimistic and forward-looking brand with a single long term objective: to become the first and foremost UK made cryptocurrency whilst offering one of the most competitive blockchain fee structures in the world. Britannia coin has its roots in a unique community of experienced Forex and cryptocurrency traders. We are 100% funded, created and developed by Aptius Ltd, a UK based cryptocurrency trading firm, specialising in algorithmic software development for the crypto, forex and commodities markets. Operating since 2018, Aptius has a small but established presence in our field, and thus Britannia coin is in fact a coin made by traders for traders, with the inception of our low-cost blockchain fee solution.

Unlike many in our sector, we have no silent partners and are beholden to no special interest groups. The directors of Aptius, are themselves the owners and creators of the Britannia coin project. We are proudly registered in the UK, and are a self-funding project. To use the old adage: in contrast to many Crypto projects that are crowdfunded or similar, we can ‘put our money where our mouth is’ and can demonstrate a strong financial core that extols the values of self-reliance.

Ecological focus and carbon footprint: With the aim of achieving a carbon neutral blockchain infrastructure, one of our key focuses both pre and post ICO will be to give back in a biodiverse fashion. The Britannia coin project has therefore created a dedicated carbon neutral team, with the specific task of ensuring the projects carbon footprint is made minimal.
